@MizoChris Meta had a strong trackrecord for PC VR, however they ditched great titles, dropped the PC VR support!

All Steam VR titles still work fine and downloads great, even working on the Q3/QP! So Steam/Valve is where you get your VR games and that’s why Steam Frame is my next choice!

@SleepyBoondit @HardwareSteam Nope you will lose your unknown queue number so stay with the 2TB version! (Same for me selected the both 2TB versions and was put up on the one without the controller! Guess they might expect a shortage on the controller side and that’s the reason maybe!)

If you want to order like two of them, it will like be impossible!

Expect that the Steam frame also will be a lottery!

@benz145 @ID_AA_Carmack @PalmerLuckey Oculus Rift had great seated VR game play, great oled displays, very light and comfortable. Great controllers And the PC VR titles released with it was great! The HTC Vive had great tracking with the external light houses! So I used the Rift for seated VR and the Vive for room VR

And an ordering limit of like 4 of those / family if you want to go all in!!!

@Techjunkie_Aman What about the ASU’s ROG Xbox Ally X, would gladly convert it as it’s been a bit unstable from day one…
But maybe I would run into driver issues?

Hope Valve releases a great lidar AI tracking add-on module to do magic with real world objects and hand/finger tracking!

Real object to be used in VR;
Keyboard and mouse, gamepad.
And why not support like a ”Mantis Titan X” (Glock 17) from VR..

@RtoVR Wondering if it will handle pc games with spatial 3D support, like the glasses free 3D displays or if the resolution will be a limit here? And if they will support 3D Blu-ray playback of DRM protected content via HDMI?

@ASUS_ROG It has not been a smooth experience with the ROG Ally X!

Won’t wake up from being docked and confusing many background applications running!
Unable to use the @ character entering email and so on! (Maybe due to international keyboard settings.)
Will give this a second try!

@203Null @SadlyItsBradley @dtupper Frame will probably be a budget friendly selection without any addons if you are into PCVR with a real GPU ;-)
