@Wanishe @pikuma Lots of big foundational C/C++ projects are incrementally adopting Rust: Linux, Git, systemd, Windows, Android, etc. I didn’t mean that writing Rust feels like writing C, only better. I meant that major orgs are choosing Rust for areas where they historically would have chosen C.

LLMs are impactful where language is the product: code for apps and Lean 4 for mathematics. How can other knowledge work be turned into language? What does a CAD, Photoshop, or video-editing language look like? A lot can already be done with LaTeX and HTML.
