@StuartShearing1 Remember it well, I was number 5 for the away team. Remember trying to lob you from the edge of the box just after half time….but you weren’t having it!
Too many @TonyKhan apologists. He alone is responsible for the mess we are in. No other manager would want to be left with the unbalanced Fulham squad. We are committed to Arbeloa and his kamikaze football for the season, it’s relegation stuff.
Going to be a long season supporting Fulham. Most unbalanced squad I have seen for a long time. So lightweight and lacking in experience. It’s a recipie for disaster. Tony Khan this one is on you
@CottageTactico@WhiteNoise1879 We have been too easy for teams to dominate in the middle of the park for a while. Need a proper physical leader in there.
@FulhamTransfer@jackellyffc Get off the big team transfer bus Fulham. Plenty of quality players out there for clubs who will be better value than buying cast offs from the big boys.
Some of these Fulham accounts on Twitter are making themselves look silly with some of the stuff they are posting about transfers. Have they actually seen how we conduct business over the last few years! 🤦🏼♂️
@ColBennettH4 Would have been a foul every time if that was a defender making the challenge against a forward. The forward would have gone down screaming about it too.
Very underwhelmed with rumoured new FFC manager. No proven record apart from short time spent at a big club overseas. Too much of a risk for me. Why are we always linked to cast offs from big clubs. So many more talented players and coaches out there.
Awful last week for Fulham fans. Marco has made mistakes with team selection, but if you think that anyone else is going to get more out of this squad, then I can’t agree with you. We’ll only appreciate how brilliant he has been for Fulham when he is gone.
@jltalkstactics Lots of word here. But if teams want to press aggressively high up the pitch you must have the threat to play direct over the press. If you don’t they will press more aggressively and suffocate you. It’s not difficult to understand. Amazing how many managers can’t work this out.
Football with no attacking intent is Fulham’s speciality again City. Seen it all before this season and prior to that. Have a go at them FFS. Wingers higher up the pitch and go longer off Raul as it’s obvious that we can’t pass through the press.
Fulham trying to sit deep and out football City on the break with no pace in the team. No surprise they are getting taught a lesson. Get some pace out wide and at least try and carry a threat on the break FFS
@CottageTactico@WhiteNoise1879@markrstats Sat too deep from the start of the 2nd half, at times our midfield and defence were 1 line on our 18 yard box. Lukic came on and the shape changed, with the midfield sitting higher up the pitch in the defensive 3rd which allowed us to get out and retain possession better
@CottageTactico@1966MJG Agree with that, Anderson is much better on the ball than Diop and this takes pressure off Bassey in possession. Cuenca unlucky tho, but will get his chance with Afcon
@FulhamFC Welcome to Kevin and Chuk, but this does not disguise the clubs inability to successfully execute a coherent transfer strategy. It’s the same story window after window. Tony Khan and Ali Mac you should be ashamed. In any other walk of life you’d both be out of jobs.
