Proponents have adopted an "incremental steps" approach to passing & modifying assisted suicide laws. Last year's "strict safeguards" becomes this year's "barriers to access," while eligibility expands and the meaning of "terminal" starts including non-terminal disabled people.

Having fentanyl during my 4 weeks in the ICU was amazing. It gave me a lot of relief but people just love to demonize opioids.

Spoke to my PCP about pain management today and she was very reluctant to prescribe opioids for me despite its effectiveness. SIGH
