Pretty interesting (to me) that the combined Labor/GreenLeft ticket tops the polling in large parts of rural East Friesland, Drenthe and Groningen provinces. Retrograde populist BBB party doesn’t seem to hold sway there the way it does in some other rural provinces.
@EuropeElects VVD and PvdA/GL are trying to turn the provincial/Senate elections in March into a two horse race. It seems to be working a bit: VVD goes from 20 to 22, PvdA/GL* together largest from 22 to 24.
*PvdA/GL are merging in the Senate.
