~14", roughly 1/3 of our annual average rainfall, in 24hrs. The pictured report is almost unbelievable except that a co-worker and farmer in Desha Co told me that more rain than this was received. I'd hate to give a crop report on this. @JohnDFarabough@AgWriterArk
Lots of crop damage showing up as day breaks here in Desha County after 8+ inches of rain fall and high winds. Soybean, rice and cotton fields under water with no place to go and corn laying down in places too. #DeshaCoAg@AgWriterArk
Tank-mix issues (excessive foam & pressure) with the VRA Sentris have popped up. Decided to do some "jar" tests. Found glyphosate & Sentris don't play well together. #UAEXweeds

Great afternoon to plant Desha County cotton variety trial. Ready to watch these seeds grow. Most farmers are wrapping up planting and trying to get as much in the ground before the weekend’s rain. #DeshaCoAg#plant21#Cotton@arcottonman@AgWriterArk
Lots of questions about frost/freeze damage this morning on corn. Progression of frost damage and corn re-growth from 2018: Frost on April 9. Pictures were taken April 9, 11, 13, 17. Be patient, should see new growth soon with good temps. #corn#arcrops#plant21#freeze21
