@MercianReb@Empireaesth Ok? Who cares? If the government superficially said white replacement is bad, would you suddenly be for white replacement? The meaning of symbols that are inherently national and predate the current age of treason isn’t up to the treasonous government.
@splitspaget@InvictvsXV I don’t think the old aristocracy was fundamentally different from the bourgeois apart from the fact that their power was more formalized and hereditary. The bourgeois’ power was largely hereditary too but economic and therefore informal.
@splitspaget@InvictvsXV Most aristocrats derived their power from both hereditary titles and vast reserves of material wealth. As for warrior spirit, many countries transitioned to professional armies as opposed to ones beholden to aristocrats long before 1789.
