🚨#BREAKING: Two boys on paddle-boards are being praised as heroes after heartwarming footage emerged of them RESCUING A DROWNING RACCOON during the Texas storms.

The two boys, Tucker and Owen saw the raccoon being sucked under by the current, scooped it out of the water, saving it's life.

The animal crawled underneath Tucker's legs, hiding from the rain and the storm.

They paddled him all the way to shore through the storm and let him go.

🚀 NASA's New Horizons is awake again—nearly 6 billion miles from Earth.

After spending 321 days in hibernation, the legendary spacecraft successfully woke up on June 23, 2026, and checked in with mission control in perfect health. Its signal traveled an incredible 8 hours and 52 minutes across the Solar System before reaching Earth through NASA's Deep Space Network.

This is the same spacecraft that gave us humanity's first close-up views of Pluto in 2015 and later flew past Arrokoth in 2019—the most distant object ever explored up close.

But the mission is far from over.

Even while in hibernation, New Horizons never stopped working. It continued collecting valuable data from the distant Kuiper Belt, using its plasma and dust instruments to study the environment far beyond Pluto.

Now that it's awake, scientists will begin downloading months of stored data, checking the spacecraft's instruments, and preparing new observations of the outer heliosphere—the vast bubble created by the Sun's solar wind.

New Horizons is now exploring a region of space that no other active spacecraft has ever studied this way.

Pluto wasn't the end of the mission—it was just the beginning of humanity's journey to the outer edge of our Solar System. 🌌
