Happy Fourth of May. I was actually aStar Wars fan BEFORE the first movie came out. Read the novelization, got intrigued, and went to see it early before word really got out. Thought maybe if it was half as good as the book it would be good.
@chuckhensey@mikeselinker@GailSimone Mandrake and were lucky. We had enough warning of the coming cancellation to pull things together at the end and permission to end it as we wanted. We knew early on what we wanted that to be.
Stayed up until 6:30 AM the other night watching TCM. Saw a movie I have on disk (The Third Man) and one that's mediocre (30 Seconds Over Tokyo) which I had never seen. Sometimes I'm a dope.
@emberquade . . .also I suffer from depression and sometimes it feeds a writer's block. It's not the same as what you deal with but I can relate, I think, to your situation. My very best wishes.
@emberquade Thank you. That was wonderful. Kim and I loved writing Oracle. Just so you know -- I had a bad stutter as a boy which I (mostly) overcame. At one point I broke my ankle in three places and was on crutches for months. Also. . .
Many thanks to all the welcomes. I'm still trying to figure out how all this works so please be patient. I may not be able to reply to all every time. I'm headed to bed for the night. Sleep well, all.
