@TeacherTired4 I am hat blind. In rural MS, it is almost expected for boys to wear them. If I get one to school and he is walking in ready to learn, that is a battle I don’t care about fighting. #pickyourbattles

Congratulations to our ACHS Girls Track team for clenching the MHSAA Class 3A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP today in Pearl, MS!

Today they wrapped up the quadruple crown: division, region, north half, and state! #weareAC #CHAMPS

Congratulations to Mrs. Grisham, Coach Mask, and our highly talented ACHS Academic Team for placing 1st in Mississippi in the 3-2-1 National Quiz Tournament. This first place finish put AC 18th overall in the nation among more than 110 schools competing. #weareAC

Out of 36 total athletes competing today, we have 32 that have qualified to advance to Regionals next week. ACHS will be represented in 29 different events. #weareAC

@DrBradJohnson YES! I totally agree that SEL is a very important step in school but we must let it happen naturally instead of trying to engineer it. If teachers are doing what teachers should do, SEL is already integrated in ever fiber of the day.

3. More listening to our diverse district leadership on what/how we can improve student outcomes
