Hundreds of Marsh Fritillary on the wing at Murlough last Sunday in sensational sunshine. Most heath patches seemed to contain dozens, making for quite the sight!

6, possibly 7x Duke of Burgundy seen at Gaitbarrows NR on the 03/05/25. These are pretty good numbers for this site and it was nice to find one just outside its usual area @BC_Lancs @BC_Cumbria

A recent trip to Kent produced really good numbers of Heath Fritillary at Blean Woods. Silver washed frit and white admiral too Frustratingly, couldn't connect with Fiery clearwing on the coast @BCKentBranch
