Saw and photographed a waxwing
I had a go at writing a sonnet 14 lines iambic pentameter 3 quatrains final couplet all the boring stuff correct
Its rubbish/boring /old fashioned but so am I
Main thing its from the heart & well meaning which I try to do with everything in life

I gaze upon the velvet night
The stars above, so cold, pale light,
Shine brighter where I know you are
Close to me yet still so far
