TSB told customers that asked for new deals that if they wanted to access TSB rates then they had to remortgage as a new to bank customer and pass an affordability test. This was despite the fact that these #Whistletree customers actually had their mortgage held within the TSB
Richard Banks. This guy has been central to this. There are plenty of people who do not know the mortgage prisoner issue. want to know more? Have a read. It's not the full story, but it gives you a good idea who benefited from this farce.
Please view & share @mortgageprison campaign video. @hmtreasury must urgently put right their wrong doings. Profiting off the sale of our mortgages causing years of suffering is not a story that is going away

Mortgage prisoners sold by the Government to Cerberus/Landmark are already paying 9.39%. The Government doesn't care and has ignored all calls to cap rates or make existing lenders offer mortgage prisoners fixed rates.
Thankyou so much for raising this . What a state we are in . Begging govt to help us for over a decade . They put us here and they have left protection absent from the sale , the sale that made them 2.4 billion surplus . Value for the tax payer? We are the tax payer !
Mortgage rates lower? My latest Whistletree letter says not! Will @Jeremy_Hunt@RishiSunak or anyone in the @HouseofCommons step up and give us our lives back? In just 1 year my rate has left me paying an extra £350 per month. Its not sustainable for anyone in a @mortgageprison
The Chancellor @Jeremy_Hunt steps up to deliver the budget and says mortgage rates are lower. He clearly has failed to look at #mortgageprisoners rates! But @griffitha@hmtreasury@Conservatives would rather victim blame those they sold to non lending entities @ukmortgageprison
My rate went up yet again today to 8.28%. Its unfair to allow #ukmortgageprisoners to remain on the SVR after all the evidence of suffering. @hmtreasury have made billions already at the expense of those of us in @mortgageprison yet @TheFCA continue to ignore the hard facts.
