How to say you don't understand the field of UX (much less the roles of UX design, product design, UI design, UX research, ...ok pretty much everything) in a single graphic:

@joulee I use dark mode and find this kind of thing all the time. I’m always curious whether or not it is intentional. I also think that 99% of the time, unsubscribing is not easy.
Most companies focus their roadmap (and sales/marketing effort) on features. However 80% of features have little or no impact on your customers willingness to buy. Instead we should be focussing on benefits. So what your product enables your customers to do that others don’t.
“A product team’s job is to create value for the customer in a way that creates value for the business. This is rarely done by fixating on a ranked idea list.” - @ttorres https://t.co/orHsrDRT9v #prodmgmt#ux
Okay Chase, how little thought was put into these password requirements? “Must not include more than 2 identical characters”? This made my brain hurt. I literally have a headache now. #UXFail
@Medium How much is the annual subscription. I tried finding this info on your website, but it looks like the only way I can see it is to unsubscribe from the monthly fee and re-scubscribe. Help.
@joulee Because they neglect to realize how important their website is. This is really obvious when the executive assistant to the CEO is the person responsible for the company website, design and content.
This morning someone asked for advice on presenting a #UX or #Design portfolio: showing the work visually and talking an interviewer through it. Thought my advice might be helpful to folks here:
The key is how compelling the stories you tell are.

@Merryweatherey@elonmusk It’s too bad “regular” people won’t understand the algorithms…especially if they use machine learning, which I assume most, if not all, do.
@jmspool@PiperTWilson@brad_frost Well said! I’d also add that it’s not a user focused solution. I haven’t seen it solve a real user problem. It only satisfies Product Manager’s needs.
Why is usability testing important? Chase shows me that I have new alerts, but doesn’t show which account they are in. I have to tap into each one and read the dates to figure it out on my own. #UX
@halvorson Im glad I’m not the only one. I’m appalled at the emails sent from our school district. I went as far as helping them fix the formatting so it’s readable on smaller screens and rewriting emails for them. They also love using “here” for links.
