What you need to understand is that the “special government employee” title is often used by Democrats to pay for nonsensical work. It can be a lot as when Hillary paid her aides to be SGEs while giving them teaching sinecures funded by the State Department at the same time they were pulling hefty govt salaries.
@ggreenwald@DataRepublican She was a "special government employee" and is brought in for her outside expertise. Even if she was not, one does not lose a right to criticize, endorse, or speak just by being a govt employee. One does lose the right to publish confidential govt information.
@AustinDunno@ggreenwald@DataRepublican How can you say she has zero “outside expertise?” Because she did not have an advanced degree? She has shown more competence than most computer science PhDs by the depth and breadth of her work and insights.
ELECTION INTEGRITY: The Supreme Court agreed to let the president ensure that mail-in ballots only get sent to and received from lawful voters. Democrats are freaking out.

Please take a step back and realize how oh so very close we came to having a Communist China stooge in the White House.
Eric Swalwell was young, handsome, well spoken, and constantly platformed in the mainstream media. For heck sake, he announced his presidential candidacy on the Colbert Show, a tip-off that something was stirring.
The Kingmakers in the Dem Party modern smoke-filled rooms could easily have decided they needed to go for a kind of JFK energy against Trump in 2020.
Here he is on the Dem primary debate stage.
We now know he was sleeping with a Chinese spy and allowed Chinese infiltrators into federal offices.
Contrast this with the multi-year fake Russiagate hoax ridiculously imagining that Donald Trump, Jeff Sessions, and Bill Barr were all Russian agents. Round River the Op of Nonsense.
Thankfully, Swalwell lacked the IQ to maneuver himself to the top of the process and Joe Biden still had enough of his marbles (such as they are) to dispatch the rest of the Dem field.
And I’m sure, the powerbrokers decided Swalwell wasn’t ready yet but they were grooming him, to be sure. From 2021-2025, the guy lived on MSNBC.
Don’t conclude from the fact that Swalwell dropped out fast that we couldn’t be living in an alternate history where we had a man corrupted by China right behind the Resolute Desk.
@TheSCIF NVRA requires that the state remove dead people from the voter rolls regularly and in fact that the state's system for recording deaths be integrated into the election registration files for easy and immediate removal. What are they voting on? The law already requires this.
We've lost our damn minds.

A federal judge just dismantled another desperate NAACP lawsuit attempting to restrict the FBI from investigating seized 2020 Fulton County ballots as panic over massive election fraud evidence continues accelerating.
SHE CALLED PENNSYLVANIA A WEEK EARLY
A week before the 2024 election, DataRepublican looked at the voting data and made the call: Donald Trump was going to win Pennsylvania.
Hundreds of people bookmarked her post, some expecting to come back and laugh.
Then Trump won Pennsylvania.
Jennica Pounds also remembers the late Charlie Kirk as one of her biggest early supporters — someone who believed in her work and took a chance on her before the results proved her right.

Let me just say something.
I've known Data Republican longer than most of you. She became an online friend back when my X account was much bigger than her X account.
I saw her making predictions about the 2024 election that were different than everybody else, grounded in novel analyses of data points nobody else ever looked at, and even before the actual election results proved that she was the most accurate electoral analyst on Planet Earth, I like to flatter myself and think that I spotted her analytical genius very early on.
I got to know her as a result of my admiration for her work.
I have talked to her a lot over the past couple of years. She is genuine. She is who she says she is, in every way. She is not an "op." She is not funded by [FILL IN THE BLANK OF WHATEVER ORGANIZATION YOU DESPISE]. She is an independent, extremely smart person with strong Christian moral convictions. She does what she thinks is right, and she stands in the fire bravely, in a way that few of us could ever bear.
Is she perfect? No. We all make mistakes. But you know what? When she does, she owns up to those mistakes, unlike 99% of the other "influencers" out there.
Which makes me admire her even more.
If you are one of those people who keep insisting she is some sort of paid information warfare operative as part of whatever conspiracy du jour has infested your inflamed cerebral cortex, you can just stick it, idiot.
I'm done.
This is:
The United States Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security Advisor, Stephen Miller:
“A BETRAYAL LIKE WE NEVER SEEN BEFORE”
@StephenM “The reason why those Americans in North Carolina, those mothers, those fathers, those precious little children, were left to die begging their government for help that never came is because the Democrats turned FEMA into an illegal alien resettlement agency.”
Meaning:
The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left fathers to die in Maui.
The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left mothers to die in East Palestine, Ohio.
The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left children to die in North Carolina.
The Democrats said FEMA had NO money and left babies to die in Pacific Palisades, California.
BUT FEMA had an extra $1 BILLION to spend on illegals, including Social Security, Medicaid, SNAP, and voter registration.
And, as a bonus, they are fuming that Elon Musk is now a trillionaire.
I am a J6er.
I was a first-time non-violent offender. My only charge was illegal picketing and parading inside the Capitol — a Class B misdemeanor with the exact same sentencing guidelines as walking your dog off-leash in a national park.
They put 24 FBI agents on my case.
They installed a pole camera outside my house.
An agent followed me to my son’s baseball practice.
When my son left with a friend, the agent stayed on him.
They put me on the domestic terrorist no-fly list. Quiet Skies. Secondary screening. Humiliation every time I tried to travel.
Every newspaper ran headlines about me.
That is not normal law enforcement.
They weaponized the IRS against me.
That is political persecution of a dad who walked through an open door, saw no violence, committed none, and chanted “Stop the Steal” for 22 minutes.
They treated a $50-ticket offense like a national security threat because of who we were and what we believed.
God Bless the J6ers
What’s happening to Natalie Harp is disgusting. And she’s one of the lucky ones.
She probably has a permanent job with the Trump org. Thousands of others are not so lucky.
Look at Jeff Clark. He’s not even working for Trump anymore, and still has bills for being loyal.
The pardon power is a "plenary" power, which means it is one of the few powers granted to government in the Constitution that resides in one branch alone. That is because the Framers wisely decided that branch should be the one exercising that power -- treating an act as "unconstitutional," for example, is SCOTUS-made law that we have all accepted, but there is no reason to believe it is plenary. The rights of Congress under Article I, Section 4 are plenary, according to SCOTUS. If a third party-- such as an administrative actor -- seeks to exercise the power, it is without constitutional authority. Biden will obviously testify to the fact that he intended to pardon Fauci, most likely, if he is still cogent enough to be called to testify. And SCOTUS may well find a presumption in favor of enforceability. But we should know..
🚨 “There’s absolutely a legitimate case that we ought to test these autopen pardons.”
@RepBrandonGill calls for the legality of autopen pardons to be tested in court as he weighs in on the push for accountability surrounding Dr. Anthony Fauci and other former government officials.
“The American people are so sick of… a lack of accountability.”

Patrick Leahey and @alfranken should both be remembered as comedians who brought a dark humor to the world. They were silly and stupid and should be remembered as a lesson to never let stupid people into government.
Jeff Sessions is by all accounts a good man, but as attorney general he was hopelessly weak. Even so, it is difficult not to feel sorry for him when you see just how thoroughly he was railroaded over something so transparently false and contrived.
The entire case against Sessions was that he failed to disclose two routine meet-and-greets with the Russian ambassador, the sort of encounters countless people in Washington had. But that was not what Sessions had actually been asked. He was asked whether he had been in contact with Russian officials about the 2016 election. He said no, because he had not.
Then, as this newly released letter shows, Senators Leahy and Franken complained to Comey about his testimony, and the FBI promptly opened an investigation into Sessions.
The whole thing was totally contrived from beginning to end. Yet the media will never tell the truth, Wikipedia remains riddled with lies about it, and history will sadly remember Jeff Sessions as the man who “lied about his contacts with Russia,” rather than as one of the earliest victims of a grotesquely corrupt political operation.
