@neogoose_btw A lawyer would know better but every time you return to the country hou may have to start your case from scratch because your i94 number changes.
@Hateras1990@AIandDesign@brownsaladchips@dasanil And I sincerely hope 5 million Americans working abroad are treated the same and returned to their country. Including the ones working in 800 military bases around the world.
@MM26316513@ReichlinMelnick@IngrahamAngle This is called “the lump of labour fallacy”. It is your idea that there’s a fixed number of jobs and every immigrant takes one from a native worker. But economy is not a pie with finite slices. They expand. And shrink.
@MM26316513@ReichlinMelnick@IngrahamAngle Definitely but your jobs are gonna reduce regardless. And in the longer run you’ll lose companies and capital too as they follow the talent. You’re not just gonna lose the engineer, but the restaurant feeding him, and the company employing him won’t stick around either.
@MM26316513@ReichlinMelnick@IngrahamAngle No one said they’re all geniuses. But the second you make America feel like any other country, capital goes where it’s welcome. There is a reason why Silicon Valley is here and not in Germany, and its not the white american heritage.
@captive_dreamer There is an educated global middle class who can find jobs and build a life anywhere in the world and bottomfeeders in all countries hate that. I get it.
@NiPeIO@MaxRovensky This is not for a visa, which typically takes few days to months ro process. Green card processing takes a few years at the very least.
