@TroyMOlson This is a center right country. As a republican, be proud to represent your voters and put them first, and you’ll probably win your election. I wouldn’t necessarily be discouraged by a bad environment because we will and can always come back stronger
@TroyMOlson No, more democratic internals could absolutely coincide with weak R performance. The only counter to this I can think of is that more D polls are being released because of fundraising needs, but I wouldn’t believe that.
@realPrestonHill I think I would lean towards option 2 more broadly, but option 1 for this poll specifically. A lot of voters are frustrated that their senators aren’t doing more to act in the interest of their states but instead being to loyal to the White House (for Rs)
@realPrestonHill Isn’t around 40% college electorate about right in Iowa? Is text heavy sampling bad in Iowa because of the older electorate being less responsive to it?
@joeyhannum He’s not wrong. Stopping now would be unconditional surrender even though the current situation is bad. Feel free to be a bit more honest on the situation.
@realPrestonHill I’m glad we’re finally seeing this. If only they’d communicate that what democrats are arguing for is effectively unconditional surrender. I hope rogers is willing to blame the execution of the war on hegseth and then say he just wants the US to win.
@AGlavkoverkh@MWpatriot01 Not really. If dc wants representation they can join Maryland or Virginia. Puerto Rico having representation is largely fine but I don’t think it’s very popular in the state. Wanting to make dc its own state is a power grab
@MikeRogersForMI Yo you should also move a little bit kite to the center on tariffs. Say you’ll work to bring down tariffs on critical factory and housing inputs to bring down costs and boosts job growth or smth
@realPrestonHill The issue is that Roger’s seem scared to show a little bit more independence on the tariffs. In Texas you just have to hope the money will be helpful is destroying talaricos image as a moderate.
@PatrickSquarep6@varadmehta Unless you can model the relationship between polling averages movement and ad spending that adjusts for exposures and markets, you can’t really make this claim
