I want to give away a collection of New Scientist magazines. The run goes from 1956 to 1989, so that would be 1500 copies. there may be a few gaps in the run but it is substantially all there. Do you know anyone who wants them? They would have to be collected.
@jimalkhalili@BBCRadio4@BBCSounds I think that the history of science is fascinating. There is a MSc course at Oxford. I have collected almost every copy of New Scientist from October 1956 to 1989 and there is some weird and wonderful stuff in there.
BREAKING: After the release of an ad that caused Trump's tantrum ending trade talks with Canada, the original video of Ronald Reagan slamming tariffs has resurfaced. He called the new ad "fake."
The original destroys Trump on tariffs.
This is the ad that sent Donald Trump into a meltdown this morning.
He called it “fake.” It’s literally Reagan’s own words condemning tariffs.
Would be a real shame if the internet made it famous.
@NASA The NASA web page does not mention that the Apollo crew almost died after re-entry when Nitrogen Tetroxide was sucked into the capsule when the pressure equalisation valve was opened. They spent a week in hospital with pulmonary oedema and received a 2 thirds lethal dose.
