Look the writing is on the wall, I will never watch my sports teams win a major professional championship:
1. Twins won ~2 years before my parents MET over 31 years ago
2. Wolves have never played for a championship and making a third straight WCF would be hard 1/?
@theblockspot I'd say this is a result of talent dev difference relative to the rest of world. It's not apathy or lack of talent.
For the US to win a WC in the future we need to make it so kids grow up dreaming "USMNT" instead of just NFL/NBA.
Similar to Olympics in a lot of ways.
@mnwild So you COULD make a new Red Army line: Kirill - Yurov - Shabanov
We saw a Ruski line of Trenin - Yurov - Tarasenko work, just have to trust Dani in the dot & T6 and you can easily see a KHL style of play to dazzle the opps
@spelunky_ As others have mentioned the abundance of guys on ELCs
However; the money is going to get to someone and they'll walk - just becomes a matter of time and who
@ZekeBoyat Two party bind;
A) PLAYERS want to come to the Wild because they see the picture and want to be on a window opening contender.
2) Understandably, GMs are saying "if player X is leaving I want Y in return so I don't completely tank my roster" which Billy won't do anyways
@TkachukFanAcc I say this in a very MN Nice way...what does FL offer MN here for Gus that Billy G takes? We're not seeing T6 forward for a Goalie trade happening here and ATP FLA doesn't really have the trade capital to offer for us to flip later imho
@RussoHockey Russo of the 6 tendered who do you think has the likely chance of being on the opening night roster?
Would assume guys like Stramel, Brink, Haight, Heidt and I guess Lambos/Spacek are finally getting chances.
Excited for the youth to come in but that is A LOT of guys with no xp
@SkolWild0713@Laurentdalmeida Cossa was delt because DET has Trey Augustine now signed, while in Grand Rapids - it isn't likely he is there now with Cossa gone
