@jake_schwall I can’t pull for a guy like him when our other 3rd base options are weaker imo? Not to mention he played in the WBC and raked in spring too. All you guys saying don’t “rush” it like what’s there to rush he’s literally ready.
A little life update… On April 18th I was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (Thyroid Cancer) It was definitely a shock to hear that I have the “C” word at such a young age and everything moved very fast. Last Thursday I underwent a full thyroidectomy along with a left and right neck dissection to remove my thyroid and the surrounding lymph nodes. I will be doing a radioactive iodine treatment in a few weeks that should lead me to full recovery. I am extremely grateful that this type of cancer has a 99% cure rate and that I will be making a full recovery and return to the field in no time. While this journey has been overwhelming at times, I’ve been surrounded by an incredible support system of family, friends, coaches, and healthcare professionals who have carried me through each step. This chapter may have started with fear, but it’s already being rewritten with strength, healing, and hope for the future. His way not My way.

Brendan Scheel (‘25, WI) uses the strength in the big frame well. Finds a way to impact and drives it well. Short to it and long thru it on this base knock. @PG_WiscMinn@PG_Uncommitted#BattleForTheMW
Jacob Spormann (‘25, WI) has 2 hits on the day, picking up a double here. Some
Length thru it as he finds the barrel and does damage here. Strong stroke here. @PG_WiscMinn@PG_Uncommitted#BattleForTheMW
