@PaulSpacey It’s not total numbers issue but who the numbers are, they’re rich kids only because it’s pay to play while basketball isn’t. US basketball culture is much closer to rest of worlds soccer culture, until you get older.

@PaulSpacey But you can’t start playing soccer at 15 after you realize your body isn’t right for football or basketball , it’s too late as you mentioned. so that removes a ton of pool of chances. Also, size and speed do matter plenty. just not as much. Haaland, Mbappe, Yamal all so pacey

@PaulSpacey I agree with a lot but I do think you’re missing that we don’t know what size adults will be when they’re kids, and all these kids aren’t playing soccer. There’s ton of people who were playing football, baseball, basketball that ended up not having the correct body type for those
