Yeah, I agree it’s too late into the season to expect players to flip. That’s why I wasn’t super bummed when we didn’t aggressively buy. I don’t have much hope for this team turning around. I’ve been watching, it’s been awful. I don’t think our squad of players are doomed for life. Listen to other cities fans talk about Seattle, they are the only ones with hope. You cannot flip my expectations with one or two additional pieces atm

The front office hate for the mariners is something I don’t understand. They put together an amazing squad. Got help at the deadline. Players make plays IMO. This year we haven’t been making plays.

Dumped Castillo’s contract, got a bat, got another bullpen arm. Have you watched this team this year? It’s been miserable and I don’t have much faith unless our current players step up. All in all I think them going all in and getting more would hurt in the long run. I think the guys on the roster need to step up or any other acquisitions wouldn’t have helped at all
