@TheIronHammer26 @GreenVelvet_ @Andz54332 I just said the the same. I consider myself a house music culturalist, lived in Europe, but also grew up on 90s hip hop. We hold kids to the 80s electronic dance "legends", but hip hop to 90s Tupac/Biggie, big L era. There is so much in between that is missing..

@bubblewrappe @GreenVelvet_ @Andz54332 the problem with dance music is that we expect the "kids" to know the roots, which is up intil the late 80s. yet, we hold hip hop kids accountable to the 90s biggie era. Nobody ever mentions grammy winners david Morales, victor Calderone, or even Robbie Rivera.
