#appellatetwitter It was an honor just to be on the team supporting Abu Zubaydah. "When elected leaders betray their allegiance to the law and abandon their faith in the cleansing power of the truth, they must find no quarter in the Court."

So I frequently disagree with @ProfGrewal but he is absolutely correct here. Ozempic is a strong vindication for those folks who argued that changing dietary habits is comparable to kicking addictions.
If you've worked in the fitness industry, you've seen it firsthand.
Correct, you just have to “choose” not eating, over your mind and body demanding that you do.
It’s the same for the dehydrated man in the desert. If you offer him water, he can refuse — his arms don’t themselves bring the glass to his lips. It’s a choice.

#appellatetwitter KYCOA today: "This is a case concerning pickleball, but it is not a referendum on pickleball. This Court has no opinion on the propriety of pickleball as a sport, nor whether there are times or circumstances where pickleball play can or should be curtailed."
@Txp_RBI_Xctuxl@CultLaser@DocStrangelove2 He trained like a 58 year old because he's 58. I guarantee his camp had to include multiple breaks/dialed down intensity. I'm 41 and I just had to take several days off because I slept weird and aggravated an old disc injury.
You just can't go as hard in training.
@jbblawmd @lohanshaw I think Paul by decision in 8 or a stoppage by Tyson's corner sometime after round 5. Boxing is really hard. It's much harder when you're almost 60.
@jbblawmd @lohanshaw Those clips tell you nothing. Anyone can look lightning fast in a clip. I can look like I've got world class hand speed in a ten second clip of me working the mitts.
The question is how long can you do that accurately while not getting rocked yourself?

My two cents: insisting that lawyers treat judges as unfailingly fair and unbiased in all instances does not protect the judiciary. It harms it.
Judges are fallible and human. Treating them otherwise at all times makes the entire legal system look ridiculous to non-lawyers.
@chriskozak19 Yeah I mean I'm not going to sit here and say I could actually hurt Ngannou wearing a glove that size, no way. But the flailing, awful form makes it so much worse.
