As a hotelier I don’t see em doing room tasks in 10 seconds, but here’s what I do see:
Instant room in service updates directly to the PMS.
Scanning conditions including room temp to optimize and send work orders instantly or better yet make repairs.
Solve the attendance and performance issues and increase rooms per day cleaning exponentially.
Be on call for room emergencies and security.
Act as a bellman and/or concierge
I’m sure the cross functionality will only grow that result in exponential efficiency increases and cost savings.
I did that when I had a kidney stone (my first and hopefully my last) last week and had no idea what was happening. There was a lot of crying involved on my end too and I think I spoke in tongues once or twice.
I was pretty sure the Holy Ghost was on its way to reap my soul vs possessing me though.😬
@jhartley61@ThomasSowell Amen, even from afar you can feel a dark tormented soul trying to spread the pain. That being would be doing the same thing in some capacity no matter what.
@TonySeruga Agreed in my limited spoon fed perspective on this.
Since a dummy like me knows this,
I’m assuming this has been planned and gamed from an intelligence perspective for some time now? I also assume the fewer there are, the tougher they will be to find without internal help.
There’s a very deep stoic saying of “Train your mind or the world will train it for you”.
Many, many people’s minds are being trained by the world, social media, “too much connectedness”, and a lack of discipline and individual purpose.
There is no short, easy fix for this complex equation built over generations.
Attrition ends the war. And throwing out all academic analysis from a desk and a cup of coffee when someone else’s physical infrastructure, military leaders and assets are destroyed the only thing left is fanaticism and rhetoric.
That being said wars of this type are really antiquated…….
Iran- yes, no weapons of mass destruction in the hands of fools, but what happens next?
Ukraine- What has Russia accomplished?
Taiwan- Why even consider physical confrontation?
We are past the time where any military war is really “won”, and there are only losses.
I sit in the middle on this one.
On one hand focus on the positive outcome you want via affirmation and “as if” you already have that outcome.
On the other hand the stoic approach of “assuming the worst” and being ready for it has application too.
I’ve seen optimism go right into the realm of delusional and have bad effects, especially when people’s money is involved and they are relying on someone to be both optimistic but realistic.
I’m just personally a fan of applying both concepts in varying amounts situationally dependent.
@EricLDaugh@elonmusk should send her a free Optimus programmed to remind her everyday of the royal British mental a** whipping of the ages he handed out to her.
@C_3C_3@SethDillon Elon just got a little richer because he’s going to live rent free inside her head infinitely after that intellectual “thumping” he handed out without raising his resting heart rate.😎
@FoxNews I met and spoke to Timothy Treadwell (aka Grizzly Man) in 1991 in East Glacier Montana, over the course of several days. Even Timothy told me he had fear of bears, most notably when cubs were involved. Bears are a bit like people in terms of personality and mood.
Thousands of memes will be born from this, especially when football season rolls around and game winning field goals are missed and touchdown passes dropped.
That aside I sincerely wish that fellow human the best on their path and health and peace. Life is too short to live in a pissed off rage.
