The saddest part about BBQ is it used to be poor people food. Used cheap cuts and slow smoked them till tender.
Today it is more expensive than a typical steakhouse, charging $36/lb for brisket.
Worst thing to happen to BBQ ever is it became popular.
Now get off my lawn
So 🇺🇸 USA's tighthead prop Pono Davis, who only switched to rugby age 24 in 2021 and by 2025 was named the top tighthead in MLR last year, was the starting prop in the final, and held his own vs England last July, has now not got an MLR team with all the squads for 2026 announced. This is negligent, clueless, stupidity from USA Rugby to let this happen. It is 4 years worth of work to make him a rugby player thrown in the trash can and one less option for the Eagles in a position where finding depth is challenging. Since he was a late starter to rugby he probably had more upside potential yet to be realised as well. It is ridiculous no MLR side has picked him up, seeing as plenty worse props than him in squads, and one of them Anthem Carolina USA Rugby has some control over.
Woke up missing the game….
forever humble and grateful for the impact it’s had on my life. The good, the bad, and the ugly shaped me into who I am today.

This shouldn’t be a hot take
Absolutely no high-level sports league should have “an official betting partner” in any capacity
The NFL did away with official sponsorship from cigarette/tobacco companies in the 1990s; it’s time to do away with sponsorships from gambling companies
MLR and the @USARugbyPlayers have signed the first-ever CBA in American rugby history 🏉
With the 2031 Rugby World Cup coming to North America and the MLR season kicking off on March 28, professional rugby in the U.S. enters a new era with real momentum.
