'Surveillance pricing' is when companies use your data to charge you more.
Your browsing. Your income. Your mouse movements. Data brokers sell it to corporations who want to find your "pain point," the highest price you'll pay.
Surveillance pricing is wrong. I'll vote to ban it
Senator Chris Murphy is introducing a bill to raise the federal minimum wage to $25 an hour.
The bill would increase the $7.25 hourly wage over 6 years and prohibit subminimum wages for tipped workers.
Nearly half of American workers make less than $25 an hour.
Bill Pulte, a Trump loyalist with zero national security experience, is now Acting Director of National Intelligence. And it is going about as badly as you would expect.
Trump handed Pulte control of our entire intelligence apparatus in the middle of a foreign war and directed him to start firing personnel, telling the Wall Street Journal he wanted Pulte to move without worrying about the “shackles” of congressional oversight.
Days into the job, Pulte ordered staff to identify roughly 400 employees to cut from our National Counterterrorism Center. That is the office our government built after 9/11 to track terrorist threats and share warnings across federal agencies before an attack can happen.
Former intelligence officials are already saying what should be obvious to anyone. Gutting the National Counterterrorism Center weakens our ability to detect and stop terrorist plots before they reach American soil.
In my eight years in Congress, I have not seen such incompetence or recklessness.
Pulte is sidelining national security and waving off expert warnings because the President told him to. That is an unforgivable gamble with the safety of American families.
And where in the hell are my Republican colleagues?
They took the same oath I did.
Their silence right now is its own kind of betrayal.

Trump has turned the White House into a 24/7 corruption operation. This is a national crisis.
Trump thinks the public will stop paying attention.
So I went to the Senate floor to call his bluff. I told the ENTIRE STORY of his 500 days of corruption.
1/ Here it is - in one🧵
The anti-ICE protestors persecuted by the government just received their sentences. These are the first prosecutions under Trump's directive that Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization.
For the crime of moving a box of leftist magazines, Daniel Sanchez-Estrada was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
For the crime of attending a protest outside an ICE facility, Zachary Evetts, Autumn Hill, Savanna Batten, Elizabeth Soto, and Meagan Morris were sentenced to 50 years in prison.
For the crime of attending the demonstration and asking her husband (Sanchez-Estrada) to move the magazines, Maricela Rueda was sentenced to 70 years in prison.
For the crime of defending himself with a legal firearm, only firing after a cop raised his gun, a fact that was hidden during the trial, Benjamin Song was sentenced to 100 years in prison.
Americans are being given de-facto life sentences for protesting their government, exercising their freedom of speech, and defending themselves. The fascism you worried about is here.
The Trump administration just paid Invenergy $765 million to cancel four wind projects. That brings the running total to roughly $2.5 billion in taxpayer money spent to stop energy from being built.
Think about that.
At a time when electricity demand is rising, the Trump administration is spending billions to reduce the amount of power that could reach the grid.
Trump has spent years attacking wind turbines as ugly and inefficient. He is entitled to his opinions about how they look. He is not entitled to make taxpayers finance those opinions.
Seven states have already sued over earlier agreements. Federal courts have repeatedly found legal defects in this administration’s efforts to halt offshore wind development. The administration has cited national security concerns while providing little public evidence to support them, and judges have said they were not convinced.
Strip away the politics and what remains is hard to defend.
Billions in taxpayer money paid to private companies to cancel planned energy projects during a period of rising demand.
Governments usually spend money to build things.
This administration is spending billions to make sure some things never get built.

Big Tech will absolutely destroy our drinkable water supply to advance their AI products and increase their profits.
Just like the health insurance industry lets people die to increase their profits.
Just like Big Oil destroys the planet to increase their profits.
Just like military contractors donate millions to politicians to start wars to increase their profits.
Just like polluters poison our air to increase their profits.
Just like food manufacturers add poisons to our food to increase their profits.
Billionaire and trillionaire greed is killing us.
ICE spent over $1 billion buying 11 warehouses to cage human beings. Now it’s quietly trying to sell or give away seven of them, more than $700 million gone, with not a single facility open and an inspector general investigation hanging over the whole mess.
This is the waste they swore they were elected to root out.
The fraud, the abuse, the blank check spent without a plan.
They bought industrial buildings at up to $145 million apiece, before renovations, with no environmental review, no community buy-in, and no real strategy for what came next. Even Republican officials told them to stop. Taxpayers are left holding the bill for warehouses that detained no one and accomplished nothing but fear.
It’s total hypocrisy.
An administration that lectured the country about efficiency lit $700 million on fire as part of Stephen Miller’s cruel fantasy of mass detention. Imagine what that money could have done for veterans waiting on housing, for families crushed by costs, for the working people they claim to serve.
I’m glad this plan is dying. It was inhumane from the first day, designed to warehouse people far from the rule of law and basic decency. But being glad it failed does not erase how it failed, recklessly and expensively. We must have full accountability for the officials who pushed it.

Stephen Miller wants to flip a switch and erase one of your oldest rights.
It’s called habeas corpus.
Fancy words but a simple idea that the government can’t just grab you and lock you away. It has to prove to a judge why you’re behind bars. That right is 800 years old.
It’s older than America itself.
And Miller tried to kill it.
New reporting confirms it. Inside the White House, Miller pushed to suspend habeas corpus so agents could seize people, detain them, and deport them with no judge, no hearing, no chance to say “you’ve got the wrong guy.”
Even Trump’s own lawyers put in writing that this is illegal. Miller pushed anyway.
Miller screams “invasion” because the Constitution only allows this sort of thing during an invasion. But this same crowd brags every day that border crossings hit record lows. So which is it?
The right to challenge your own detention is the line between a republic and a regime. Lose it, and the government can disappear anyone.
I will fight this with everything I have.
The Constitution is not optional.
Not for Stephen Miller. Not for anyone.

Hegseth removed Chappie James's portrait from the Air Force Art Gallery and left the wall empty.
James flew 179 combat missions across two wars. First Black four-star general in US military history.
Curry passed that portrait every day for a decade. When it came down, he retired.
The wall is still empty.
BREAKING: In a shocking maneuver, Senate Republicans just BLOCKED a Democratic effort to BAN federal troops from entering polling stations or seizing ballots or voting machines. Makes you wonder what they’re planning this November…
SpaceX is set to debut at a staggering $1.77 trillion valuation. It is the largest IPO the market has ever seen and will make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire.
But to make it happen Elon used his influence to get the rules changed so Index funds that hold millions of Americans’ retirement savings are forced to buy in.
That’s right. This IPO was engineered to make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire by risking your retirement savings.
You don’t hate capitalism enough. It’s all fake. It’s all a scam. It’s one giant pyramid scheme to funnel wealth to the ruling class off the backs of our labor and retirement savings.
BREAKING: ABC News Just Published Some Pretty Stunning ICE Data.
The administration says it is targeting the "worst of the worst."
But according to ABC's analysis of government data, only 3% of the more than 400,000 people detained by ICE between January 2025 and March 2026 had a violent felony conviction in the United States.
ABC reports that ICE apprehended more than 4,800 U.S. citizens and deported over 2,000 of them during the first eight months of 2025.
On August 30, 2015, @MotherJones published an article about Trump Modeling Management, which was Trump's modeling agency for underage girls that was active from 1999-2017.
Trump Model Management built a systematic machine of exploitation: luring aspiring models from around the world with false promises of stardom, then trapping them in a web of abuse. Girls as young as 14 were placed on tourist visas and told to lie to customs, packed into overpriced bunk-bed apartments, buried under fees that stole up to 80% of their earnings, and left broke despite promised six-figure contracts. This wasn't a few bad deals — it was the business model. One model described it as modern-day slavery.
I would say this business is a blueprint for the Tate Brothers' business of owning and exploiting underage girls by trafficking them in the porn industry. Both Trump and the Tates are basically doing the same thing, luring women, trapping them in a foreign country, and sexually exploiting them mercilessly under false pretenses while robbing them for all they're worth.

Instead of discussing how Elon Musk is now the world's first trillionaire, we should talk about how he killed hundreds of thousands of people through his dismantling of food and medical aid to poor countries
