@elonmusk — I want to start by saying this: what you, @RepAaronBean, @PeteSessions, and @SenJoniErnst have built with the Congressional DOGE Caucus is historic. For the first time in decades, there’s real political will to cut the fat from a $36 TRILLION debt machine.
That deserves credit. Genuinely.
But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud:

You set July 4, 2026 as the deadline to implement meaningful reform. We are essentially HERE. And while the Caucus has laid out a strong platform by cutting agencies, slashing regulations and ending waste. The speed of execution hasn’t matched the urgency of the crisis.
We add $1 TRILLION to the national debt every 100 days.
Every day of delay isn’t a policy disagreement. It’s money stolen from veterans, seniors, and our kids’ futures.
You moved fast with Twitter/X. You moved fast with SpaceX. The same energy that put rockets back on launchpads can fix a bloated bureaucracy but only if Congress stops letting perfect be the enemy of done.
The American people gave a mandate. 77 million votes worth of mandate.
Don’t let Washington slow-walk it into nothing.
