Aaron Bean

Proudly representing FL-04 in the U.S. House of Representatives. Founder & Co-Chair of the House DOGE Caucus. @WaysandMeansGOP

[Aaron Bean @RepAaronBean]

Thank you @HHSGov @SecKennedy for visiting Lincoln Memorial University in Orange Park today to meet with healthcare leaders from across our region.

Northeast Florida is a powerhouse for healthcare. I am glad we were able to bring the Secretary for this visit where he was able to meet with local providers and hear about their ideas for improving healthcare delivery.

Patients count on improvements that make treatment faster and less invasive. Thank you @RepAaronBean for signing on to ask @CMSGov to withdraw its fixed-dose combination proposal. https://t.co/MuMdWreabq

Medicare Advantage works best when policy is grounded in accurate, comparable data. We applaud Chairman @RepJasonSmith and @WaysandMeansGOP for advancing @RepAaronBean’s Apples-to-Apples Comparison Act and urge the House to pass it.

[Ways and Means Committee @WaysandMeansGOP]

PASSED: The Ways and Means Committee just passed H.R. 4093, the Apples to Apples Comparison Act.

Introduced by @RepAaronBean, this bill will provide greater transparency into the costs and health outcomes of Medicare Advantage and Traditional Medicare, giving lawmakers and seniors better data to make informed decisions about both programs.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

[Aaron Bean @RepAaronBean]

September 11, 2001 is the day that changed our nation forever. Join me in remembering the fallen and honoring those who stared terrorism in the face and refused to bend. Their sacrifices have preserved freedom and security for generations to come.

On this day 25 years later, America remembers and vows to #NeverForget.

[Senator Ashley Moody @SenAshleyMoody]

.@RepAaronBean and I introduced the LEO K9 Protection Act for one simple reason: law enforcement animals assisting our police officers deserve protection from harm.

[Ways and Means Committee @WaysandMeansGOP]

LIVE NOW: The Committee is holding a markup of four bills to increase transparency in America’s tax-exempt sector, hold bad actors accountable, prevent foreign influence in our politics and public discourse, and protect religious freedom. https://t.co/bYFaPByEzp

[Aaron Bean @RepAaronBean]

Thankful that @DrOzCMS and @VP are taking this growing issue seriously. I am proud that my DME Scammer Prevention Act made its way through the @WaysandMeansGOP Committee earlier this summer, so that we can ensure that taxpayer dollars are going to their intended recipients and not foreign scammers.

[Dr. Oz CMS @DrOzCMS]

In South Florida alone, there are TWICE as many durable medical equipment (DME) suppliers as there are McDonald's restaurants.

Today, we’re happy to say that we’ve wiped out nearly ALL fraud in DME — a protection of our resources and Americans' hard-earned money.

[House Republicans @HouseGOP]

PASSED! The Sunshine Protection Act makes daylight saving time permanent and eliminates biannual time changes. Congratulations, Rep. @VernBuchanan!

Thank you for hosting, @BaptistHealthJx!

[Baptist Health @BaptistHealthJx]

We were honored to host the latest installment of Congressman @AaronPBean's Pathway to Consensus health policy series, focused on the Medicaid Directed Payment Program and its role in Florida's health care delivery system.

Panelists included Brian Blase, president of the @Paragon_Inst, and Mary Mayhew, president and CEO of the @FLHospitalAssn, moderated by Dr. Juan Pulido, Clinical Dean, LECOM - @JacksonvilleU and pulmonologist with Jacksonville Lung Clinic who practices at Baptist Medical Center Beaches.

The conversation explored a range of perspectives on Medicaid supplemental payments, federal reform proposals, provider tax policy, hospital reimbursement and the potential impact on access to care for Medicaid, uninsured, pediatric and medically complex patients.

At Baptist Health, we believe thoughtful conversations about health policy matter because they ultimately affect patients, caregivers and communities. We appreciate the opportunity to bring together leaders with differing perspectives to discuss these complex issues and their real-world implications.

[Aaron Bean @RepAaronBean]

The Southeast @Freedom250 Truck rolled out of Green Cove Springs yesterday but not before Clay County SET THE RECORD for most visitors to date for this particular truck!

More than 2,500 of you stopped by to check out the Freedom Truck Mobile Museum during its three-day stay at the Clay County Admin Building.

Abby and I had the opportunity to stop by yesterday afternoon. It was awesome to see all the excited residents in line to check it out. The enthusiasm around our country’s 250th anniversary has been fun to watch!
