Itโs been one year since the devastating M7.7 earthquake hit Myanmar, centred near Mandalay.
I covered it hour by hour, day by day.
The quake and its strong aftershocks killed over 5,400 people and injured around 11,400, with hundreds still missing in Myanmar and neighbouring countries. More than 10,000 buildings were destroyed and damage topped $11 billion.
Tremors were felt far beyond Myanmar, causing significant damage in Thailand and shaking parts of southwestern China and Vietnam.

โ๐ธ๐โ๐๐ | A gruesome murder has shaken Malegaon city in Nashik district. A young man was brutally killed late at night, with the accused using wooden sticks and sharp weapons to end his life. The shocking incident was caught on CCTV and has since gone viral on social media. The motive behind the murder appears to be an old feud.
In 2016, a 59-year-old chimpanzee named Mama lay dying at Royal Burgers' Zoo in the Netherlands, refusing all food and water.
As a last effort, zookeepers called Professor Jan van Hooff, a biologist who had known her since 1972. When he arrived and spoke to her, Mama immediately recognized his voice โ she lit up with a huge smile, reached out to embrace him, and gently stroked his hair. She passed away peacefully shortly after.
The moment, captured on video, became one of the most-watched animal clips in internet history and a powerful reminder that deep emotional bonds arenโt unique to humans.
BREAKING NEWS: This happened last night at 9:40 pm in Arizona near Interstate I17 and Durango Street.
This criminal was ramming his car against the police car. He could have simply stood down and got arrested. He chose the consequences. You don't do that shit to cops!
People need to stop resisting. They are going to jail whether they like it or not. It just makes it worse on them and escalates the situation from more charges to death. There are consequences to our actions.
This should not come as a surprise, it's common sense.
Thank you, AZ DPS Hwy Patrol and Phoenix Police for keeping Arizona citizens safe from criminals! ๐บ๐ธ๐
