@9ersmuse@QuickStopScoops@willbig_boss28@grantcohn Aiyuk did not contest the cancelled guarantees. He walked away from MILLIONS. He made it easy for the 49ers.
He’s also one player, not an organization. Him being petty and personal is posting videos and being a nuisance. 49ers personal is literally holding a player hostage.
@QuickStopScoops@9ersmuse@willbig_boss28@grantcohn 49ers are not acting in a business capacity. It is completely personal, and only 49ers fans believe they aren’t only being pretty. Entire league can see they’re trying to ruin Aiyuk’s season, possibly even Career.
Bad faith, bad argument from you.
@9ersmuse@willbig_boss28@grantcohn You’re the one who just insinuated that we still had a bad organization, don’t retract it when presented with facts.
@9ersmuse@willbig_boss28@grantcohn We fired our bad organization. We went from 31st to 11th best in the NFLPA report cards. DQ was rated #1 player responded head coach.
Your org is operating on bad faith and bad business, it’s okay to call it out when it happens.
@49ers_Access Again I said financial ties, if he never shows up and is never on the roster they won’t have to pay him another penny.
The 49ers are just as much In the wrong. They don’t NEED to keep him. He has no trade value and the entire league knows it. This is entirely personal for SF.
@49ers_Access They cut financial ties. They owe him no money unless he’s on the roster. Him not filing a grievance means it wasn’t about money, it was about the principle of him feeling wronged by the organization. Right or wrong, every other social contract = breach and be fired.
@ScottDoesRadio@TheRealMcKoy85 If this was a Walmart employee instead of an athlete of your favorite team you would just say “just let them go find another job” but because you believe your team has some moral high ground they should be petty and vindictive.
@TheRealMcKoy85 The team can quit on players at any time. The team can cut any player for virtually any reason, including not liking them.
This is a simple employer/employee contract that was violated, and terminated. The natural result is to fire the employee.
49ers are being petty. EOS.
@TheRealMcKoy85 Again, there’s a first for everything.
Clearly something the org did rubbed BA the wrong way, and normal process after cancelling his guaranteed money would be to release him.
Everyone knows he has no trade value, and everyone knows the 49ers are just holding him hostage.
@TheRealMcKoy85 This happens to every organization. Players get disenfranchised and want to leave. Most players don’t walk away from $27M because of it, but BA did. That also speaks volumes.
Also both Bosa, Trent held out in the past 5 years. Jauan Jennings signed for 4M less than 9ers offer
@TheRealMcKoy85 1) His own father called him a “perfectionist” and intense when mistakes are made.
2) He demanded a trade BEFORE they paid him. And they paid him BEFORE his injury, buyers remorse is real.
3) BA has been open about WHO he wants to play for, and NE would’ve been a pay cut.
@TheRealMcKoy85 There’s now videos re-surfacing of BA warming up before a pre-season game, the team tried to trade him while injured after paying him because they regretted the contract, multiple people saying Shanahan is impossible to get along with if you don’t kiss his ass.
@TheRealMcKoy85 Nobody is butthurt about Aiyuk BUT 49ers fans. All Washington fans want is for Aiyuk to be released, where as 49ers fans want him to suffer and be held hostage,
But we’re supposed to be the butthurt ones?
@TheRealMcKoy85 And you guys got absolutely destroyed by your division rival in divisional who had a 1st year head coach and 1 first team All-Pro. Your false sense of success is hilarious.
@TheRealMcKoy85 We’re 2 years removed from the NFCCG. You guys just let a division rival win their first ever Super Bowl with an entirely new team and coaching staff on your watch. On top of that you’ll be the Rams little brother the next 2-3 years.
Whose future looks better?
