most of the tokens never died because they were never alive in the first place. pump fun enabled free coin creation and as a result, people launched coins - most of which garnered almost zero liquidity or buy pressure, which as a result raises the bar for what a 'good' token is

if pump fun is responsible for millions of 'dead' tokens, then they're also responsible for driving billions of dollars of liquidity to Solana, enabling countless products to build on top of pump and generate billions in combined revenue, as well as enabling the creation of coins which reached billions in market cap & gave users the chance of achieving life-changing wealth
