XRP Ledger Moves Closer to Native Lending
The LendingProtocolV1_1 amendment is now open for validator voting, RippleX (@RippleXDev) reported.
The proposal adds closed ended vaults and cash basis accounting to XRPL lending. It must activate before the broader LendingProtocol and SingleAssetVault amendments can proceed.
Developer Shota Natenadze says three amendments are required for mainnet lending.
The validator vote will determine whether LendingProtocolV1_1 activates on the XRP Ledger.

BOOM. Ripple's stablecoin hits new all-time high.
Currently still only the 8th largest stablecoin in the industry, @Ripple's $RLUSD has just hit a brand-new all-time high supply at more than $2.42 billion.
Though dwarfed by the likes of @Tether's $USDT and even @worldlibertyfi's $USD1, RLUSD's growth is nonetheless impressive, given it was launched in 2024.
XRP Ledger Enters Brazil’s $4T Financial Market
CSD BR and Ripple are bringing the XRP Ledger ripple:native into Brazil’s regulated investment fund infrastructure.
The partnership will initially mirror ownership records for investment fund shares held through BTG Pactual.
CSD BR manages more than BRL 22 trillion in registered assets across Brazil’s financial markets.
The blockchain records will complement existing systems, while CSD BR remains the official ownership record.
Only verified corporate and banking institutions will participate under identity and anti money laundering requirements.
The project could later expand into native issuance and trading of additional regulated securities.
