Some teachers become martyrs because it genuinely makes them feel good.
They take pride in sacrificing everything for the job.
But teacher martyrdom is one of the most harmful things normalized in education because eventually, the sacrifice stops being appreciated and starts becoming expected.
In honor of our Lord and in memory of Charlie Kirk, we will be teaching @slconference how to establish Bible clubs and sports ministries in public schools.

Charlie Kirk was martyred for his faith today. He stood strong and gave his young life for God and Country. May we never forget. May pastors remember his message and engage Biblically to restore our nation to God and godly principles.
Tennessee teacher licenses now require “a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally or nationally accredited college” recognized by CHEA.
Great news for graduates of TRACS-accredited colleges who live in TN or states with teaching license reciprocity! https://t.co/Sqpa9hNWDo

John MacArthur's influence in my life was inestimable. He was a precious mentor & friend for nearly 45 years. In the pulpit he was fierce, forceful, and full of earnest courage. In person, he was kind and gentle.
This is a painful loss for the church; glorious triumph for John.

Our hearts are heavy, yet rejoicing, as we share the news that our beloved pastor and teacher John MacArthur has entered into the presence of the Savior. This evening, his faith became sight. He faithfully endured until his race was run.
2 Timothy 4:1-8
Pray for the family and church family of Dr. John MacArthur as he has gone to be with the Lord. He was always kind as @wcbc_today played @mastersuniv in basketball. His stand during the time of Covid was helpful to our county and our nation.
