@cowles95@JamesTate121@LouHuesmann Project 2025 states that the USPS should not deliver abortion drugs specifically, based on the Comstock Act, which is a whole other issue. It says much in government should be privatized, and mentions specific agencies, but says nothing of privatizing the USPS.
Looking forward to being in Ireland at the end of the month. Sadly for us, @rosebettsisback@rosebettsmusic sold out her concert in Limerick, so these two American fans will have to miss it. Love her music. If you haven't heard her, check her out!
@johnpavlovitz He didn't say he would lift sanctions. In the unedited clip, he replied to a question about sanctions at the New York Economic Club. He talked about the economic downside of using sanctions and the advantage of using other tools.
@LouHuesmann
@GunjanJS@WSJmarkets The "real gdp" looks at gdp absent distortions from inflation. Looking at real gdp, the Biden/Harris administration has had the 2nd worst average annual growth since Truman's administration (George H.W. Bush was worst)...real GDP is not a win for Biden/Harris. @LouHuesmann
@reeseonable I'm not a fan of a lot of his policies, but that was an incredibly heartwarming scene of a father and son unashamedly expressing their love for one another. We need a lot more of that and a lot less hatred and vitriol.
@iamfujimura I'm pro-life. I think it's fantastic and heartwarming to see a father and son unashamedly express such deep love for one another. @LouHuesmann
@LouHuesmann Woodruff apologized for her comments, saying they were based on reporting from two outlets, neither of which alleged Trump attempted to get Netanyahu to turn down the deal. In fact, one of Axios's unnamed sources stated that Trump intended to encourage Netanyahu to take the deal.
@RBReich Vote any way you want, but be honest. Biden has support from many billionaires. He was supported by 230 billionaires in '20, Trump 133. By July '20, Biden had 150ish billionaire backers, Trump 105ish. Clinton outraised Trump 20-1 among billionaires by 9.26.2016. @LouHuesmann
@ruthbenghiat If you actually care about truth, you'd be honest and say that both men lied throughout the debate last night. Biden lied repeatedly, as did Trump. Neither was honest. If you dismiss one's lies, but condemn the other for his, then you can't be taken seriously on this issue.
@LouHuesmann From the ssa website: "The Social Security benefit programs are 'entitlement' programs."
The gao says: "Entitlement programs are either financed from Federal trust funds or paid out of the general revenues."
Social Security taxes are put into special trust funds.
@BidensWins @LouHuesmann This is not a win. This graphic is from a year ago. The inflation rate rose for the next 3 months after this graph. In 4.24, it was 13% higher than it was in 6.23. The three highest annual inflation rates over the past 25 years were 2021-23. '24 could be top 4, too.
@johnpavlovitz Yeah, I don't think "Quit fretting, lowlifes! The stock market and gdp are both up, so suck it up and get out of that food bank line" is the message we should be sending now.

@Brcremer The age of the nation in question seems pretty irrelevant when it comes to God. For the record, though, the usa is hardly "one of the youngest nations." By many measures, we're actually one of the older nations.
