A Greater Manchester trainee police officer has been arrested on suspicion of rape and kidnap .
The force reported a call from a woman in distress in her vehicle over the weekend
Response officers traced the vehicle which was pursued on the M62 in West Yorkshire. The 23-year-old man, who the force said was a student officer still in training, was stopped in his personal vehicle and had been off-duty during the pursuit.
He was arrested on suspicion of kidnap, rape and dangerous driving and remains in custody for questioning. He has since been suspended and GMP has made a voluntary referral to the IOPC.

I don't get all the criticism of Mitta Fahnbulleh.
She sends her kids to a private school, yet voted for VAT on them.
This is anything but hypocrisy; she would pay the price too, so she did nothing for herself or her family.

Jail capacity is low; releasing criminals to create empty spaces is the worst idea.
1. Start building some more jails(Labour refuses to)
2. Buy some space abroad
3. Rent spaces
4. Transfer non-violent criminals to a less secure place
5. & many more!
