Melatonin has many benefits beyond sleep including immune support, heart health, diabetes, & cancer.
Helps optimize mitochondrial health throughout the body and in the brain.
Now we know melatonin also improves memory & increases the formation of new brain cells.
It also exerts a protective effect on neurons, especially against oxidative stress.
While the melatonin sold as a sleep aid is usually in the 1-5 mg. range, a smaller dosage, a tenth as small, in the .3-.5 mg range can be just as effective researchers have found.
