Tomorrow I continue my journey in sales leadership by shedding the player/manager role and moving into a full leadership role. With this, comes the inevitable exploration of new systems and apps to help me accomplish my goals.

My “LifeOS 2.0”, at least to start with, will span a few different apps. I am going to be trying out @goodtaskapp for managing tasks, because its back end is reminders (which is great for Siri), it’s everywhere I need it, and it displays my calendar entries alongside my tasks

It would be the perfect device if it had those things. I love my big iPad but it’s too big to be an actual iPad. The “lean back in your chair and just potter about” device. What I really want is an 8” iPad Pro. Until then, I’m going to try the 11” pro. Deeper down the hole I go

People love the iPad mini, but I just can’t get over 2 things:

1. The screen is just bad. Clarity, readability, and switching from my 120hz phone, Mac and other iPad to it feels like going back in time

2. iOS and its apps are poorly/not optimised for it:

Today has been one of those days where I’ve had about 25 minutes that hasn’t been spent on a call, and it’s 6:23pm and I’ve been outside once for about 30 seconds.
