@DJSnM I came up with a better idea that NO ONE has ever considered. We should keep the rocket engines running until we get half way to mars, do a 180 flip, and keep running the engines until we get to mars. Then we don’t need some fancy heat shield and enter mars at over Mach 9000 /s

@bscholl @wolfejosh Biggest slow down to boarding is waiting on people to put luggage in the overhead bins. Go no overhead bins, backpacks/purse under seat in front of you only. Charge for carry on of any kind. Carry on luggage has gotten comically large!

Biggest cost component to general aviation aircraft is the the 75-80% of the plane is hand build. Less than 25% is automated
