Big day for waiters
Now you gotta wait another 2 years.
At this point all I feel is disappointment toward people who read 10+ VNs but still don't learn JP. You could read 5 JP VN slowly and be set for life instead but ah well
@eopcide @EOPiglet learning japanese made me realize how easy it is to do anything if you just put any amount of effort into it. I think learning a language would improve anyone's life outside of just learning the language.
@eopcide @EOPiglet this is literally exactly what I did and I was reading after 3-4 months lol. And you're right there is something so rewarding about comprehending a new piece of grammar or going back to a vn you struggled on and reading with ease.
@eopcide @EOPiglet I just cant comprehend the mindset behind ruining the experience of something you "love" or waiting 10 years for a TL rather than just putting in a little bit of time to learn it. I also cant understand fan translators who spoon feed these retards for free.
@eopcide @EOPiglet its the same people who haven't made their bed in a decade and e-beg for money, yet they're quick to call others lazy for achieving what they cant. Also I think a couple months until reading is completely reasonable, you can start basically as soon as you finish a core2k/kaishi
@EOPiglet Yeah it’s funny when people say jops have nothing in life besides Japanese when the only difference is 30 min of anki a day and reading in JP rather than English. The only thing it takes is commitment. And it’s one of the most rewarding hobbies that I know of
@EOPiglet Yeah it’s really just a matter of wanting it to the point that learning becomes an addiction. It’s beautiful tbh. Some people will never understand
@EOPiglet I got into learning Japanese because of my 2 of my irl buddies started. they both quit because anki was too much for them lol. They weren’t into vns tho so they didn’t have a reason to learn other than “anime is kinda cool”. That’s the mindset I imagine EOPs have
