Great canvass in North Prospect this morning with @PlymouthLabour! My first one since my recent illness. Thanks to you all for turning out - more joined after the photo! Around 150 contacts!
Pleased to join our local Labour councillor team, St Budeaux Co-op, local businesses, USDAW, and police to launch the Freedom from Fear campaign in St Budeaux Square.
Join us on Thursday, 27th March, from 1 PM to 5 PM at St Budeaux Square for the Freedom From Fear campaign event. Organised by Plymouth Labour Councillors, USDAW, Devon & Cornwall Police, and St Budeaux Co-op, this initiative aims to prevent violence and abuse against shopworkers
Today, Councillor Jon Dingle met with the local Co-op manager, police, and a USDAW representative to address anti-social behaviour in St Budeaux Square. We’re launching the ‘Freedom From Fear’ campaign on Thursday, 27th March, to promote safety and respect for local businesses.
With a team of @PlymouthLabour councillors I’ve travelled over the Tamar Bridge to help @annagelderd and the @SECornwallCLP team campaigning in Liskeard.
Today we’re all knocking on doors for @ladytraindriver who is Labour’s candidate here.
Great morning on the doors with @PlymouthLabour. Many residents mentioned delight that we have secured Derriford’s new A&E after years of empty Tory promises.
We knock doors all year round, not just at election time!
📚🎉 Celebrating 5 Years of St Budeaux Library! 🎉📚
Your St Budeaux Labour councillors were proud to support its growth into a thriving community hub. With 500+ attendees & fantastic local organisations, it was a true celebration!
Proud to support our community!
St Budeaux Labour Councillors donated £300 to St Budeaux Baptist Church, helping their youth group attend a fantastic residential trip.
Great to hear it was a huge success, creating memories and opportunities for local young people! 🙌
This morning, I held a successful ward councillor surgery at St Budeaux Library, helping two residents with important issues. From escalating housing repair delays to addressing traffic safety concerns, it was great to connect and take action for our community.
It was fantastic to attend the Kings Tamerton Community Centre’s Coffee Morning today and present them with a cheque for £300 which was donated from all three St Budeaux Councillors Community Grant.
The money will be used to help pay for the over 60s Christmas meal 🎄
The Government has given Plymouth City Council a further £2.2 million to help support local people during the next six months.
This is great news and I know this money will be going to help those that need cost-of-living support through the upcoming winter.
Applications for the Household Support Fund will open in November. Find out more: https://t.co/ymGtQzM3Eo
Back out on the doors today with the newly elected MP for Moorview @FredThomasUK and newly elected school councillor Bella. Neither are resting on their laurels and taking it easy but rather hitting the streets and touching base with the people ✊🌹✊
A really productive morning spent by all three local councillors at Cafe Connect delivered by The Pioneers Project CIC this morning engaging with local residents and the CB Barne Barton Mike.
@JoshMcCPlymLab@sallyHaydon2
A really positive meeting held at Tamar Crossings on Monday afternoon between the Co-Chairs of the joint committee Cllrs Dingle & Worth, Cabinet Member for Planning & Transport Cllr Coker and newly elected South East Cornwall MP Anna Gelderd.
Been busy over the past few days getting issues reported in the local area, meeting with residents and attending local meetings like the Belong in Plymouth co creation workshops with my colleague @JoshMcCPlymLab.
Really productive morning spent with the Belong in Plymouth group today. We will all be spending the next 12 weeks going on a co production journey together to try to figure out how to make meaningful change within the communities of St Budeaux and Barne Barton.
It was a real honour for me to be able to take part in this year’s Recovery Walk organised by the fantastic team at the Harbour Centre.
The Harbour Centre provides vital services for people experiencing difficulties with addiction and substance misuse and their families.
