@jasrifootball Bell could still play as with many RB’s… take Kareem Hunt for example. Let the league tell it, he was washed up and there was no place for him… same happened to Tomlinson, Peterson, and countless other RB’s that we’re still in their prime. This world is political.
If I hear another @NFL commentator say that the WR needs to give the QB more room to throw the ball when running a go route on the sideline I might lose it… throw the ball in bounds, point blank!!! The WR will adjust!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@EntergyNOLA my power goes out too much!!! No storm, nothing to affect power!! I need a credit… tho happens wayyy too much. FIX IT!!! It can barely rain, the wind kick up a bit and bam power out… someone isn’t doing something right somewhere
Today it was disappointing to witness @essence and @essencefest file documents to shut down an event put on by Black business owners. The business owners @tamikanewhouse, @kimberlylatricejones, and the New Orleans book store @baldwinandcompany lost money and their time.
@jpmorrell the President of the City Council in New Orleans issued a statement to make sure it’s clear that it was never the intent of the ordinance Essence attempted to use to harm private owned businesses and events from operating.
For me, it does no good to say we are going to celebrate Black culture while harming Black businesses in the city you’re coming to do business. I was a speaker this morning who arrived and found out Essence did this, and watched the impact.
I’m sharing this because this is my state and these are my people. If Essence is for THE CULTURE, the people who make up that CULTURE should be able to reap from the harvest.
It is my hope that leadership will show the excellence we see in presentation in all aspects concerning our people.
(Saw a lot of discussion about Essence ownership, it’s #BlackOwned again)
