@OMG_ITS_NDABA@AdamWarwick86@KoroTeeps Most likely you make a call on if Lawes is playing better than one of the others? I'd also say , Jack Willis is probably playing st a level he could actually walk back in. Maybe the exception
@OMG_ITS_NDABA@AdamWarwick86@KoroTeeps But, players have developed? E.g Guy Pepper and Ollie Chessum. Both could easily be starting for England at 6 for years to come. And, I think the idea Lawes will immediately be picked over them is a little silly. Him adding competition to them isn't a bad thing either.
@OMG_ITS_NDABA@AdamWarwick86@KoroTeeps Owen Farrell has been back in England for a while now, and wasn't looked at for the 6 nations. So he didnt just 'walk back in'. Same will happen with Lawes unless he plays well.
@jcorrigangolf He is a child you oaf. Why dont you grow up and stop shouting about a talented youngster who has achieved more already than you ever will.
@thepaulwilliams Cant go down to 13 men in a tight game vs Italy in Rome in the 60th minute these days. Italy will punish you, just like any major team.
@citysmugger@ajsrugby Itoje was awesome, bar the yellow card, and the scrum was on top vs a great italian scrum. Front 5 isnt an issue. Centre partnership was just new, again. Atkinson probably just overplaying.
@JontyUpNorth@TightFive_Rugby Execept most the main issues from last few weeks were resolved... the kick chase was good, scrum good, line out good, england won many more turnovers. In Rome vs an incredibly talented, very pumped up Italy. Yeah, England lost because they were shit...
@LWaunfawr Scotlands early dominance, and being able to disrput the kicking game gave them an edge mentally all game. It forced Englands errors, and they punished them. Also, Scott Cummings should be praised in how he stopped a certain try from a line out maul
@LWaunfawr England were good in build up, dominated territory, especially in the 2nd half, and impressivley during the 20 min red. But, those turn overs! Think how many were unforced, and during key attacking moments. Fords DG, but also knocking it on on the floor.
@roverjoyce@CharlieFelix Watch it again, It wasn't ford at all. Aside his chsrhe down, that is why i think he is standing outmlm It was handeling errors on kick chase, and in the 22. England actually looked good through phases, especially in the 2nd half.
@will_owen9 My hot take is Maybe for 50 even 60 minutes, England probably played better generally, but their mental focus wasn't there at all (all the handeling errors, especially on the ground) and 2 huge mistakes punished severly (Genge and Ford).
@jimmcg83@TightFive_Rugby That tends to be how a fly half defends. Its rare to get a Sexton or Owen Farrell type. to me it says he has developed a good work rate in defense.
@jimmcg83@TightFive_Rugby He has made the 2nd most sucsessful tackles of any Irish player this 6 nations, behind only C Dorris. He is at 70% succesfull tackling, as an attacking Fly Half. His defence is good right now for a fly half. So thats a very unfair/ wrong statement.
