@HMRCcustomers I'm looking to find out how to claim the tax relief on the business mileage. The company paid for the fuel, but that's it. How do I claim the difference between the basic fuel cost they have covered and the 45p/mile that the HMRC permit?

@HMRCcustomers - so I use own car for work. I get car allowance in lieu of a company car. I have a company fuel card, but I pay my share of private miles, so not a BIK. How can I get an allowance for wear & tear, which I would get if I got a mileage allowance instead?
