@AliceTalksFooty I’m an Arsenal fan - it looks us about three years to turn around a similar situation, and we had to take a bath on so many of those contracts. The squad is overpaid and underperforming - that’s not something that has people queuing up to make offers.
@AliceTalksFooty Similarly Marcus Rashford. He’s on £300k a week. To put that in context that’s more than anyone at Arsenal, anyone at Chelsea, anyone at Liverpool bar Salah. Best case you have to subsidise a move which will come off of any fee.
@AliceTalksFooty Casemiro is on £375k a week, is 33 years old and over the past couple of seasons looks it. He’ll earn more at United next year than he realistically would on any three year deal and then get to leave on a free. Why would he move? Who would pay anything for him?
@nectar Hi, I’ve just had a mail saying I’ve spent nectar points at Esso but at the garage they told me the transaction hadn’t gone through. How can I reclaim the points?
@katyballs So this makes sense short term but medium term doesn't it just multiply the issue they have with the only people who support them are all going to die soon? Short term wipe out less likely, longer term complete wipe out more?
@prla @GergelyOrosz I work in government where the launch has to be tied to legislation and/or to external dates (e.g. linked to the academic year/exam cycle).
@AvaSantina Loving the implicit assumption that by leaving his wife he’d be free of the pesky parenting that had so troubled him? Not so much leaving his wife it feels as leaving his five year old daughter?
Many adults have begun to dogmatically reject anything the "mainstream" says. It feels smart; it's really cognitive surrender born out of a sense of betrayal, hopelessness and despair.
@jonzo1 To be fair to them they may have heard that we don’t have tomatoes so asking about something more advanced than common vegetables isn’t entirely unreasonable?
