The 'why' is well recorded. Jews were accused of poisoning wells during the Black Death, murdering Christian children for their blood, and killing Christ. All false, and the Catholic Church formally rejected the last one in 1965.
They were banned from most trades, pushed into moneylending, then hated for it. England expelled them in 1290 after the king had taxed them dry. Spain expelled them in 1492 for refusing to convert. That's the why.
Your own source puts the chance that police violence killed her at 13%. That's not 'absolutely no evidence'. It's one website's probability estimate from 2022. The UN fact-finding mission investigated for over a year and concluded she died from physical violence in custody. And the CCTV shows the station, not the van.
Even if she had died of natural causes, the state still detained her for showing her hair. Millions of Iranians didn't need the CIA to be angry about that.
So you know exactly how it feels to be blamed for what other people who look like you did, and you hate it. Then you already know why it's wrong. You're not fighting that logic, you're just choosing a different target for it.
And 'not all of them' isn't an excuse. It's arithmetic. It was true when people said it about white men, too.
Agreed, anyone who celebrates dead children deserves no respect. Three years ago today, families were murdered in their beds and a 9-month-old baby was taken hostage, and activists handed out pastries in Berlin to celebrate. Same rule for them?

'Nobody cares,' says the woman who posted about October 7 on its anniversary and has spent all evening replying under it.
The 364 young people murdered at a music festival had parents. They care. And so do you, apparently, or you'd have posted about something else.

Fair enough, respect for owning it. That's all I'm asking for the Talmud too: read it in context, the way you'd want your own scripture read. One underlined line out of 2,700 pages is like quoting 'there is no God' from Psalm 14 and skipping the 'the fool hath said in his heart' part.
And there it is. My first reply said you'd never hear 'I hate Jews', just 'I'm just explaining how they talk'. It took less than a day for someone to skip straight to the end.
Hating an entire people for what you think some of them did is the same logic you'd call evil if anyone used it on you.
@lifeafterkosovo@Uncommonsince76 The post you're defending says Jews hide their true intentions. So what exactly did your eyes and ears pick up? If it's hidden, you didn't see it. You filled in the blanks yourself.
The '109 countries' list counts towns, regions and the same places over and over. Many of those 'countries' didn't even exist yet.
And by your logic, the Roma have been expelled from nearly every country in Europe too, and the Nazis murdered them as well. Were they the burglars? Being persecuted everywhere shows how widespread the prejudice was, not that the victims deserved it.
By that definition, Afghanistan and Iraq weren't wars either. Hamas has its own armed wing with tens of thousands of fighters, hundreds of miles of tunnels and thousands of rockets fired at Israel. That's an army, even without uniforms.
And the death toll is horrific, but a death toll alone doesn't make it a genocide. The legal test is intent to destroy a people. That's the question, not the number.
You underlined 'God commands one to lie' in red. That's where.
And 'thou shalt not lie' isn't one of the Ten Commandments. The ninth is 'thou shalt not bear false witness', which is about lying in court. The closest thing to your version is Leviticus 19:11, 'neither lie one to another', and that's from the Torah. So the rule against lying you're quoting is Jewish law.
@Unkool_Aid@Uncommonsince76 You posted a page with 'God commands one to lie' underlined in red, under a thread about Jews hiding their true intentions, without a word of comment. The underlining was the argument.
But go ahead. If that wasn't your point, what was?
@Unkool_Aid@Uncommonsince76 Exactly. You get to read your scripture in context and skip the foreskins. So do Jews. The Talmud is mostly rabbis arguing with each other, and you picked one line and called it a commandment.
Same standard for everyone, or no standard at all.
That verse, 1 Samuel 16:2, is in every Christian Bible too. God tells Samuel to hide his mission from a king who'd kill him. By your logic, Christians are commanded to lie as well.
And the passage is about white lies to keep the peace, like telling your wife dinner was great. If that proves a people is deceptive, every married man on earth is guilty.
Three years ago today, a terrorist group that runs a territory slaughtered 1,200 people, burned families in their homes and dragged 251 hostages into Gaza, including a 9-month-old baby. You just described Hamas and put Israel's name on it.
And if you really won't abandon Gaza, start with the Gazans Hamas beat and jailed for protesting against it.
We may be ordinary people, but we will not abandon Gaza. We will keep speaking out.
Israel is a terrorist group that has been given the name of a state.
