I'm really not sure about the Green Party - Zach Polanski seems a weirdo and Hannah Spencer a bit of a hypocrite.
They have proved that they are not ready for power with their running of Bristol City Council. Most people in Bristol are p**sed with them!
People like Ariana & Taylor Swift are doing so well politically and should just continue to use their platform to call out Trump and his policies:

@ClaireforTAY Claire, thanks for drawing my attention to this issue. I would ask you though - how do you expect this generation of young people to be able to afford to buy property without new homes being built.?
It seems you and your LibDem colleagues oppose every reasonable housing locally.
John Healey's resignation is regrettable but Labour should not obsess over defence spending. We should focus on more important issues such as schools, hospitals and the environment.
Also in my opinion international aid is much more worthy than defence spending.
At University I did my Masters dissertation on the subject of Global Civil Society.
I recently came across some old notes I made on this issue and have updated my thoughts and put together an article on the subject for my blog:

I've actually lost a bit of respect for Darren Jones over his messages to Peter Mandelson.
I thought he was a rising star but this is not a good look from my fellow-Bristolian.
Well done to all involved with celebrating the 1st Birthday of our Repair Cafe in Frampton Cotterell today. It has been fantastic to see all the community get involved and support the project.
Cllr Snaith came up with the idea and it has blossomed into a community hub for all.
Did you know? - children can play for free at the tennis courts at The Park (Crossbow) - 1-4pm School holidays & 4-6pm during term time.

The party is such a rich tapestry of ideas at the moment. I think we should prepare for that ideological battle. From the issue of EU membership to immigration and welfare there is so much more to be said and done.

Tony Blair represents the past. His comments are deeply unhelpful and do not stand the party in good stead.
He would be wise to keep quiet in future and leave the policy-making to those elected to do so.
Solidarity with the GKN workers striking in Filton at the moment. I have a friend who works there and the pay offer from the parent company was derisory and insulting.

Happy and proud to be elected as the new chair of the Parks & Rec. Committee on Frampton Cotterell Parish Council. I am hoping this year will prove pivotal and exciting for the village. We are working to build better relationships with our sports clubs and improve facilities.
