@TNLUK Finally managed to get into the phone call queue today - had my issue sorted by an agent. Turns out the calls were so busy because so many people had the same problem with the system making duplicate purchases.
@TNLUK I still cannot get through to someone on the phone on the contact for online players. I need to get in contact quickly but am given a high call volume automated recording and the am hung up on
@TNLUK I'm afraid 5 days would be too late - the next EuroMillions draw is tomorrow evening and the ticket would likely get locked-into play at 19:30 tomorrow.
@TNLUK And I still cannot get through on the phone to have the duplicate ticket cancelled and refunded. I don't want compensation - just a ticket invalidation and a refund for that ticket. /4
@TNLUK I end up with 2 tickets with the same numbers (2x ยฃ20 spent) with only the raffle numbers being different.
The rest of the money was meant to go on 4 weeks of my Lotto numbers. 3/

@TNLUK I had an error after trying to buy my monthly EuroMillions ticket through the app. I got the error asking me to try again. After closing the app and opening it my funds were taken twice for the same ticket (ยฃ40 instead of ยฃ20) and I have 2 tickets for same numbers
@TNLUK The login became successful on the website at 19:31 that day (after draw purchases closed), however, when I tried to log into the updated app again with the correct details it still failed 4 times and locked my account which I had to recover. Both work now under a new password.
@BattlefieldComm First post on X formerly known as Twitter for me for quite a while: this has been really disappointing. EA App customers really deserve some form of compensation whether it be in-game items or financial. I feel foolish to have pre-ordered when so many people advocate against it.
@bt_uk Hello, an engineer is due to arrive on Monday to install an ONT to connect us to the FTTP network. We are currently connected by telephone pole. Would it be possible to have the ONT installed in the upstairs bedroom at the front of the house? An AC power socket is nearby.
