⚡️Europe’s ruling class has spiritually seceded from its own people.
It no longer sees the nation as an inheritance to defend. It sees territory, institutions, and public wealth as administrative resources available to whoever can make a claim on them.
Citizens still carry the burden.
They pay.
They obey.
They wait.
They absorb the shortage.
Their prior claim to the country is treated as morally embarrassing.
That is the betrayal.
Migrants are following incentives. The people dissolving the border are the leaders who refuse to choose whom the state exists to serve.
A welfare state requires a wall around reciprocity. Remove the wall and generosity becomes extraction. Citizenship becomes a tax status. Sovereignty becomes theater.
The true break happens when outsiders are granted claims without obligation while citizens are assigned obligations without ownership.
From there, the nation survives only as geography.
The elite can call this compassion for a while.
The public will eventually recognize it as dispossession.
Then politics turns savage.
Moderate enforcement becomes impossible because moderate legitimacy was spent. The state that refused to draw a lawful boundary creates the movement that will draw a brutal one.
Europe believes it is escaping history.
It is summoning it.
A government that will not put its own people first has already abandoned the meaning of government.

@HannahDCox The reason is probably more that young people these days are more interested in themselves and having fun rather than sacrifice that to take on a responsibility that will take all their time, energy, and resources.
Tua Tagovailoa says he’s disappointed with decision but has to be honest that his performance led to him being benched.
Tua says injuries haven’t impacted his play and he doesn’t have control on his future.
You know, even though Alabama was ass. It’s another sample to show why playing the conference championship is not worth it. Had Alabama not had to play, they would 100% be in CFP. Now it’s up in the air just because they played this “extra” game.
@JoeRobbie_ This is what happens when you only care about getting paid. You do bare minimum. He don’t care about this team or the fans so anything that is said about him is irrelevant.
