@TheDavidVinc That's not how DLC works. The studio doesn't finish the game 2 weeks before launch. I'm not saying Squeenix shouldn't include this for free, but the base game is probably mostly done.

@CONEY @chronotj The really irksome thing is that they completely take away any possibilities of physical. I can still buy new music on cd or movies on bd. It's just extremely cynical I feel to not even give the choice to the publishers who supply that special market of physical game lovers.

@CONEY @chronotj It's true that the trend is towards more digital, but even then I highly doubt they're worried about saving money and moreso just want to get a quick upturn in pure profit from digital. I doubt it COSTS them anything in the grand scheme, simply a smaller margin. Discs are cheap

@inkfycreates I cringe anytime I see something like someone playing Zelda without using the manual and then being like "woah it's so cryptic!". Yes it is actually mysterious and encourages exploration, but you're really going against developer intent and exasperating that specific aspect.
